TRATAMENTO ESTÉTICO CONSERVADOR PARA REMOÇÃO DE MANCHAS DE FLUOROSE ATRAVÉS DE MICROABRASÃO E CLAREAMENTO DENTAL

A fluorose dentária ocorre pela ingestão de flúor em quantidades maiores que recomendado, promovendo manchas, que impactam negativamente a estética dental e autoestima da população. Nesses casos a microabrasão e o clareamento dental são indicados, por serem técnicas seguras e conservadoras. O objetivo deste trabalho foi relatar a eficácia e os efeitos pós-operatórios da microabrasão associada ao clareamento dental. Foi selecionado um voluntário com fluorose grau leve e realizou-se microabrasão do esmalte dental, seguido de aplicação de dessensibilizante e clareamento dental associado com Opalescence Boost 40% (2 sessões, 20 min) e Opalescence 15% (4h diárias, por 4 semanas). A cor foi avaliada pela escala Vita Classical e a sensibilidade dental por escala verbal. Verificou-se clareamento de 8 unidades na escala Vita e sensibilidade dental leve. O presente trabalho demonstrou que as técnicas utilizadas apresentaram ótimos resultados promovendo o clareamento e a uniformização da coloração dos dentes, melhorando a autoestima do paciente.Referências
